TIMOTHY NELSON
Timothy Nelson fuses clever lyricism with unforgettable hooks; the guy has a bit of a reputation for putting out ear worms. With dozens of song-writing awards under his belt it’s no wonder this versatile songwriter has collaborated with artists from the likes of folk singer Liz Stringer to hip hop legend Drapht. But Timothy Nelson’s solo project draws influence from many of the greats but presents you with something entirely new, topped with ample helpings of something familiar.
KATY STEELE
If there’s one thing that you remember about Katy Steele – it’s that voice. Undeniable, ethereal, dramatic, and melodic, she’s a one and only. A creative chameleon. A singer-songwriter. An artist with almost two decades in the Australian music industry who continues to impress. Hailing from a family of musicians including her father blues legend Rick Steele and brother Luke Steele (The Sleepy Jackson/Empire of the Sun), she has shaped her own brand of music with influences from The Pretenders to Blondie and Fleetwood Mac that’s all the while sprinkled with her love of melodic pop.
