Our September Beers with Benefits Fundraiser is for the Hero Hunter Foundation.
HHF is a not-for-profit organisation that provides support to families with a child undergoing oncology treatment in Australia. During the month of September, 100% of the proceeds from Geordie Bay’s Wild West Coastal IPA will be donated to the Foundation!

The HHF honours Hunter Leigh Madden who was just 3 years old when he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Hunter battled Leukaemia for five years, had three relapses, gruelling treatment and sadly died in September 2021 at just eight years old.

The tragic outcome for Hunter can’t be changed, but his parents realise they had an incredible support network throughout, which not all do. The family wanted to set up this foundation to support others going through this incredibly tough and long journey. They had a village of people that held them up so they could in turn hold Hunter up. HHF’s vision is to be this support for all Australian families.
